ZEST IS BACK!

Every year MAHE Dubai Campus hosts a sports tournament for high schools in Dubai, this event is called Zest. I personally was part of the event both last year, as well as this year.

Coach Moustafa, Mr Zia and Mrs Roma were the faculty who helped run this event. They pulled everything through and arranged all the resources for Zest 2018.

Schools like St. Mary’s Catholic High School, Delhi Private School, and Winchester participated in this sports event. The tournament included the following sports:

• Volleyball
• Basketball
• Table Tennis
• Badminton
• Chess

The high school students really enjoyed competing against other schools and their coaches were filled with determination. All school teams played with passion and fought hard.

The Sports Committee helped organize and run the event. The event ran smoothly with just a few hiccups but, then again every event has them. Although, the Committee did recover from those few bumps pretty well, and by hiccups and bumps I mean delayed matches, few disputes during the games, etc.

All in all, Mrs. Roma and Mr. Zia, who were also part of organizing the event, did a really good job! All the students enjoyed it and that is the event’s end goal.
