Collaboration between SODA and the School of Engineering and IT leads to victory at ADPI competition

On November 8th 2018, the School of Design and Architecture collaborated with the School of Engineering and IT claimed victory in the ADP Ingénierie competition based purely for innovating an individual’s commute in a corresponding airport.

ADP Ingénierie is a group of airport experts and professionals who share a common passion with experience who help in the designing the airports of the future. They have an international subsistence which ranges from there presence in America to Hong Kong. To read more about ADP Ingénierie click here.

The intention of the event was to exercise the innovative power of the undergraduate students of the Schools of Design and Architecture who were collaborating with the School of Engineering and IT. The innovating capabilities  of the students were put to test when they were told to create a relaxed and hassle free experience for the passengers who utilize the airport form arrival to departure.

Presenting infront of a panel of jury which the students who participated regarded it to be a rare occasion , the scholars of design and architecture along with the aid of the students of engineering and IT secured a victory.

The rewards attained by the respective students were mementos and a unique opportunity to intern at the prestigious firm.
